These two timber wardrobes made the journey from Whitewood Warehouse in Moorebank, Sydney, to a home in South Yarra, Melbourne, with Phil’s Furniture Freighters.
The photographs show the pair side by side in their new room, with panelled doors, hanging space and drawers below. Their warm timber tones sit comfortably alongside the floorboards and pale walls—a practical storage solution with plenty of character.
From the warehouse to South Yarra
Buying furniture from an interstate supplier opens up more choice. The next step is arranging a delivery that suits the furniture, the collection point and the home it is going into.
For this delivery, the collection point was Whitewood Warehouse in Moorebank and the destination was South Yarra. It is a good example of the individual furniture deliveries we carry between Sydney and Melbourne, alongside our Canberra work.

Planning a wardrobe delivery
Large wardrobes need more thought than their footprint alone suggests. The height and width of each section, the route through the property and the space to turn all matter when planning the job.
If you are arranging a similar delivery, send us clear photographs and the dimensions of the furniture. Let us know about stairs, lifts, narrow doorways, parking restrictions and where the pieces need to go. If the supplier says a wardrobe separates into sections, include the section sizes and any handling instructions.
That information helps us assess access and quote for the work properly. If you need assembly, unboxing or packaging removal, mention it when enquiring so the agreed delivery includes the help you need.
