In September 2026, Phil’s Furniture Freighters delivered a handcrafted live-edge timber dining table for Christian Cole to Northcote.
This was a furniture-specific delivery focused on careful transport, controlled carrying and proper final placement—not a rushed doorstep drop.
Christian Cole Live-Edge Dining Table Delivery in Northcote
Christian Cole handcrafts distinctive timber tables in Melbourne. We treated the organic edge and finished surface as the focus of the piece, with protected transport and controlled placement in the Northcote home.
The organic edge and finished timber surface are the features that give this table its character. They also need controlled handling, proper protection and enough room to turn the piece safely.
Careful placement is part of the job
Getting the furniture to the address is only one part of a good delivery. We also consider access, floor and wall protection, the safest carrying position and where the item needs to sit in the room. That preparation helps avoid unnecessary handling and leaves the piece ready for the customer to use.
Specialised furniture transport, handled properly
Phil’s Furniture Freighters works with furniture makers, retailers, designers, businesses and homeowners across Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and selected regional areas. Our new furniture delivery service can include placement, basic assembly, unpacking and packaging removal where arranged.
