These bookcases were designed and built by Andrew from Upcycled Wood Designs, a craftsperson who gives Australian hardwoods a second life. The Blackbutt in this pair was salvaged from a property in Nowra, then milled, matched and finished to highlight the timber’s warm grain and durability.

The story
We coordinated pickup, blanket-wrap protection, secure transit, and careful placement into a Giralang home. Tight access and polished edges meant slow, patient handling—exactly what our white-glove service is built for. The result: a pair of pieces that look like they’ve always belonged in the room.
